This is my personal site where I will be exhibiting my work in wildlife artwork, my new book The Adventures of Rylee Redd, and other ventures.
I am Rhodesian born, and have spent all but the last 8 years in Africa, thus the interest in South African wildlife, specifically big cats. I have completed a lot of varied commission based work, from Egyptian artifacts, to portraits, landscapes and pets. I am also using my artwork to raise funds for the donkey sanctuary.
For the most part of my working career, I have been privileged to have been able to work with young children, working as a preschool teacher in Johannesburg. I now work with the elderly in a residential home in Paignton Devon, where I also reside with my husband David.
It is this experience that has motivated me to create my character Rylee Redd a charming and lovable rabbit, and to write and illustrate this book of 8 short stories. It is my desire to continue to encourage children to read and realise the pleasure it brings. The stories themselves carry a positive thread through them, and will help the children to deal with everyday problems. Children are also enjoying the mystery and intrigue as Rylee takes them on his adventures in the forest where he lives.
Everything you see on this site can be made available to you. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
